Yeah, I should probably do that.. I'll pull a Cobb map off their site and flash it over with a tatrix cable. And why check my vacuum/boost lines? What are you telling me to look for? Leaks? or oil in the lines? or..?

Not trying to be a smart ***, but yeah your ecu is probably limiting you pulled some timing. I dont think it would automatically pull boost though. Get an AP with an OTS that looks like it will match, or go to a shop that will tune opensource and just get a protune.

With how much motor replacement is on these I just prefer to always play it safe. I learned my lesson early about putting on parts without a tune, or putting on parts that my AP didnt like. I didnt pop a motor but my car ran pretty poopy with some of the stuff I did.
I didn't consider that being an issue at first so I didn't mention it. I've never had problems with my car at all and I've had the exhaust/map combination for almost a year now and hit redline many times without problems. This is the first time I had a slight issue. I plan on getting a protune within the next month or two if money allows it.

Wait you're open source? Dude go get a proper tune from someone. Even a TP map or whatever, PM Procede he was running their maps. It's like $175. Check all your lines to see if you have any boost/vacuum leaks. If you have oil in those lines your car is probably ****ed anyways.

Hit redline many times? I dunno.... I just have no words for that one when the map wasn't meant for the mods.

I'll get a proper tune within the next couple months if repairs don't pop up. I'e heard of oil going in the lines but heard that its not a MAJOR issue and you just get a oil catch can. I'll pm you the link to my map and the source

So.. I did a 3rd gear pull today and I'm still having this problem. I really don't know how to describe it. Kind of like when your bottom bracket is bent on your bicycle and it just feels a tad off. The car kind of hiccups. Not a significant thing that anybody can notice but if you sit tight as I pull you can feel the car pull 100% then back of to 95% and back to 100% if that makes any sense.

I dunno, I have this issue sometimes too, but that's because I mix fuels.... Have you tried throwing maybe a gallon or 2 for a full fill up of E85 or maybe 2 of 100?

cleaned my MAF sensor around 6 and took it for a drive just now and did a couple pulls and it seems to have fixed the issue but I'll post again in a couple days when I know for sure.

not yet, gotta buy the lubricant and whatever needs to be done to clean a K&N filter. Haven't looked it up yet what needs to be done to clean them nor have I talked to anyone about it. MAF seems to have fixed the issue though

When you say k&n you are talking about a drop in right not the typhoon.....

If you are talking about the typhoon that thing sucks....
