Fuel Pump issue?
Well i was going to the mall earlier today and i got off the freeway and my car just seem like its stalled out because the rpm went to 0 and my power steering turned off so i decided to pull over to the side. I tried to start it again but nothing. Then I realized that when i try to turn it on, I don't hear the fuel pump winding like you should. I try to turn on the car and nothing. I finally got a tow truck to tow my car back home to try to resolve this. Anyone have any ideas?
I have a walbro fuel pump that was installed 3-4 months ago. but recent had it protuned at GST.
Car was running great, just all of a sudden today it decided to crap out on me.
Any help would be great. thanx!

Just figured it out..the #11 Fuse blew. It was a 15A fuse. I put in another one and try starting it again and it blew again. then i put in a 20A fuse and finally it got it started. Thanks tho.

The fuse is a safety device, designed to blow before something more serious happens. You could end up with an electrical fire.

yea heh i was thinking of the same thing too..imma try taking out deck and reseting the ecu and then try again using a 15A fuse. I need to buy some fuses.

so i did this and it still blew..i put the old 20A in there and it blew. the next thing i am looking at is replacing the fuel pump relay. Anyone have ideas before that?

Trace the wires back first. You could have nicked one during a stereo or other mod install. The other possibility is the wires on the fuel pump itself. I really doubt the relay is the issue.
