There's a rumor circulating around about this particular turbo unit...

Do the words "Momentum Turbo" mean anything to you?

Read up on a NASIOC search on the subject. Someone had to buy out the turbos, and re-sell them.

I sat up in my bed last night at about 2am and said to myself "AH HA! That's the proof!" (After wondering for a few days what was going on)

How do you "align a wheel" in a turbocharger? There is no alignment process-you put the bearings in the housing, put the thrust bearing assy. together, put the backplate and heat shield on, and then you put the turbine shaft through the housing, put the compressor wheel on, put the shaft nut on, and you're done. If you balance the cartridge as a full rotating unit, you then balance it. If not, you're done.

There's no alignment-that's fake! Sounds like what happened to the momentum units-the turbine housing was put on the bearing housing totally crooked because trag the taiwanese cave man doesn't know what he is doing. THAT causes the wheel to impact the housing!!!!

Now, keep in mind, you REALLY have to be a bone head to do this, and I doubt that forced performance has ANYONE that stupid in their whole organization that builds turbos. This is something you do if you have NO IDEA what is going on...... BUSTED!!!!!

Again, "alignment" is totally a lie.

Yeah, I couldn't really keep that thread open due to my lifetime ban for being bad. It was one of those things where it was a conflict of interest to keep the thread open on NAZIOC because I was bad, I had an ulterior motive for posting the thread (VENGANCE for FP killing my father when I was young?), and FP was giving NAZIOC money.

Jake-you'll keep us updated, no? Hopefully they will align the wheel correctly this time and keep the compression fluid in the flux capacitor.....

Nope, these turbos are fresh. Their big advantage is that they share common parts with the EVOIIIGT cartridge and the EVO IX turbo that the same factory makes-you can make 1000000000000000 bearings and bearing housings, and they work for all models.
