will i lose power if i was to put a front mount intercooler? and how do i make my car faster? please help me

A FMIC is unnecessary unless you have an upgraded turbo, and a host of other mods.

You won't lose power with a FMIC, but you will notice a considerable difference in turbo lag.

My suggestion to you is to spend the $1000 elsewhere.

 

but the bling factor is high

it can cool the air better but i would spend the money somewhere else

 

would the longer piping of the FMIC reduce or increase lag?

 

^^ yes with a small to medium size turbo it will increase lag

 

what size tubing do these FMIC use?

 

get a custom dyno tune. that was the best thing i bought for my car. i have all the exhuast parts and hoses etc. when my car was stock and i got tuned night and day different.
