ok this is the important thing, i really want to make my wrx run 11's but is it possible to run 12's or 11's without hurting the motor or decreasing the motors lifespan?

what if i got the ihi vf34 turbocharger which is japans lastest stock sti turbocharger, and a turbobackexhaust system, what else do i need that is essential to make the wrx run efficiently and safely with more hp.?? please need expert advise. thanks

There's a LOT of information like this floating around. You need to do more READING and less posting. Maybe then you'll have some answers to these retarded questions. You WILL need much more than $1500 to use that turbo efficiently. Now go read more and type less.

Wow, you've gone from wanting to drop $1500 on some exhaust and tuning for 13 second times to wanting to run 11's with a different turbo and exhaust in this thread. I think you need professional help. Go talk to someone at a tuning shop like Vishnu or SPI mentioned earlier and I'm sure they'll bring you back to the real world, if you want 11's, better bring a fat checkbook. I'm not trying to be a d i c k, I'm just trying to let you know that you won't get an 11 second car by getting anyones "expert advice" on the internet, you'll get it by dropping $$$ in a tuner's garage or by dropping even more $$$ in your own garage first getting your car into the 13's, then the low 13's, high 12's, etc. Keep spending and learning and eventually you will have an 11 second car.

if u wanna run low 11s...here i go
-3'' turbo back exhaust
-uppipe
-reflashed ecu/utec/whatever
-turbo+intercooler+i think an oil catch can+water spray kit if u want+ gauges
-fuel rail/ fuel pump/550cc+ injectors/air intake
....in something like that order...its gonna cost you a lotta $
then you can go into the engine and get rods/pistons/etc
obviously with all that power you would want a good set ofwheels and a new suspension...preferably(sp) coilovers...good luck

what if i got a ihivf34 turbocharger with a power enterprise injectors 800cc. is the 800cc bad for the engine? or is it the more fuel injecting the better?

has anyone fully upgraded their WRX's to run 12's or 11's and have still have a perfectly running wrx?

i dont think 800cc injectors would be bad...actually they might be better than 550cc for 11s...yeah go with 800cc..that way they wont get ...i cant think of the word....overloaded...they wouldt be working...um...ahhh....full time...if u get what i mean...but thats good cuz u dont want ur injectors......overloaded.....sry i cant think of the right words....but yeah i think 800cc is a good choice...i wouldnt turn the boost up high until i got better internals...i believe the stock engine internals are only good for 300 crank hp so befor you turn up the boost get rods and pistons...maybe increase compression a lil bit...research it well so you dont mess up the car...good luck

for 11s a clutch and flywheel, pullies+kelvar timing belt...maybe a dogbox for 1st and 2nd would do instead of a new tranny?

Lightbulb

This topic has been covered pretty well. It seems there's two types of car people...those that want fast cars and are willing to pay someone good money to make their car fast, and those that want fast cars and are willing to learn more about their car and cars in general by working on their own car. You seem to fall into the "just make it fast" type. I'd just say call Vishnu/Cobb/SPI/whoever and give them your money and your car and tell them to make it "fast".

well... i looked on the prodrive website http://www.prodrive.com/menu.htm

its not very good.. talks to much bs unlike vishnu, they get straight to the point of the price and the performance you will get, vishnu site is very clear about the procedures and upgrades.

prodrive site, i dont even know what kind of performance packages they have and what specific mods they use to upgrade.

also from the scc issue of spank the STi, vishnu is #1 performance wise.
