Ok, hehe, sorry. Typically, exhausts are all the same as long as it is a straight through muffler and its a 3" piping it is all good. People typically pick their exhaust based on styling and sound. Fitment should be good.
I personally have not used TXS stuff. I only use JDM stuff on my car. You may also consider the weight of the system. If TXS is steel, then you may want to consider something lighter like 5Zigen Miracle Fireball or Tanabe Ultra Medallion. Those are my favorite exhausts.
You should also check out the reviews section and read up on the exhausts there.

i ran across the turboXS setup last night and had my own curiosity piqued...
http://store.yahoo.com/mauromotorsports/tustbaex.html
downpipe starts at 4" and reduces to 3"... midpipe then goes from 3 to 2.5 before the axle-back flange.
the bmw guys from sweden i talked to (who ran insane amounts of boost onto stock bottom ends) all said that the only part of an exhaust that really has to be big is the first 18" of the downpipe... after that the exh. gas cools, and after that it's appropriate to downsize so you don't lose velocity. seems like this setup is designed around that idea, i'd like to see how it does on a dyno.

Oh really? That is funky! The only diameter change I would live with is almost mandatory downpipe to exhaust section which is USUALLY tapers down to 2.5" in order to be called a "bolt" system. That was stock DP can be used with aftermarket exhaust and vice versa.
Speaking of downpipes, what DP do you have, JDM girl?

i'm new to subarus, but the piece on the bottom is the DP, right?

i'm willing to guess that if this equipment is interesting to JDMGIRL like it is to me, she probably also just has an axle-back right now...

If you a real JDM girl, you'd say forget TXS and get an ARC or Kakimoto full Ti exhaust. But then you'd have to be a RICH JDM girl to afford that. LOL.
i have the TXS stealthback with a hi-flo cat mated to my prodrive axleback. i love it!!! the 4" to 3" to 2.5" taper is a bit trippy. i had GB Motorsport install it awhile back (almost 2 years ago.) without an ECU reflash, the stealthback provided a little more power at high RPM's....not very noticeable on my butt dyno though.
the most noticeable characteristic after the install was the turbo whistle/whine as it spools up. with the prodrive muffler, it sounds tame, with a bit of a grunt and a lot of turbo whistle.
performance wise -- 2002 WRX, gutted uppipe, TXS stealthback, and prodrive axleback w/ecutek reflash yielded 207whp and 206 ft-lbs of torque on Gruppe-S' Mustang dyno. this is a pretty typical power output for those mods, so i don't think the TXS + prodrive is spectacular. HOWEVER, what it has is a subtilely distinct sound with a low-key appearance. that was/is important to me and still remains to be.
*edited because i could not spell "subtilely."

If you're really getting the stealthback get the midpipe that's 3" all they way through instead of the 2.5" taper. If you ever plan on getting a larger turbo that 2.5" taper is going to affect your tune. Also, I guess due to the bellmouth design and flow for the stealthback, a larger turbo may experience boost creep. I didn't think boost creep was possible on a vf34 but sure enough Mike showed me the graphs and that sucker shot straight up.
The stealthback is a great setup, though those are a couple things you should look out for so you don't run into the same problems as I did.

even tho the TXS TBE is 100% stainless steel, (maybe b/c it doesnt have any protective corrosion coating) i've notice that owners that have the TXS rusts up pretty quick....
-quick question, the upper flange on the TXS DP, is it 1/2"...

OR that after a certain period of time, the thermal heat actually burns up some of the natural substances made/mixes with the stainless steel.
Here is mine --

Mine is with the highflow cat and standard muffler. All the previous comments are pretty much dead on accurate *Edit, no rusting for me*. I personaly love the sound, its got a nice deep burbly sound at idle, and mean raspy growl when you get on it. Plus the downpipe whistle is cool too.
Only issue with mine, is a very small crack at the very tip of the muffler, could be from abuse, like hitting something, Im not sure.
