When the car was bone stock it would not boost in 1st gear. This is electronically controlled, correct?
Now that I have my TBE on it will boost up to....not sure I'm busy paying attention to the road but I've seen the needle pass .05mpa (and assume it makes it to .09mpa)
Is thier something wrong or is this normal with an aftermarket TBE?

No, you should not be making 1bar or .1mpa (or w.e the stupid lampco gauge reads in) in first gear. Although first gear on these cars pulls like hell its only about .7bar. In every other gear the car makes more boost.
