Hey guys, I have bought a turbo xs high performance boost controller and need some help. I have installed it exactly like it says in the manual....however, the factory electronic boost controller is limiting my boost to 12 or so. At the bottom of the Turbo xs page for the WRX it says "*Please note that the WRX is equipped with a factory electronic boost controller. The solenoid must be disabled in order for the TurboXS manual boost controllers to work properly."......It does not however explain how to do this which leaves me with a jerk whenever i reach 12 psi. I have had to tune down the boost almost lower than factory just so it wont jerk. Please help me out. Has anyone done this?

I have turbo xs blow off valve, aem cold air intake, custom cat-back exhaust with2.75 inch piping and hks muffler.

 

how high do you plan to turn that thing up?????

 

I plan on 14 or 15 psi, as that is what I keep hearing is a good safe range for the factory turbo.

 

14-15? I just did the restrictor mod and i am pushing a little over 15 psi. Hmmm.....is this not good? Should i change it back?
