the best thing to do and this is what i do before i buy or look into buying any part for my car, look in the review section. i have the greddy evo2 catback. i love it. im gonna match that upwith an invidia v2 downpipe and helix flex up-pipe. i should get good gains and a very nice sound with this setup.

just like what dice mentioned above, read reviews and make sure you do your HW. parts can be pretty expensive so you wanna think about what you want to put on your car and most importantly you want to be happy you have it.

getting back on topic about exhaust systems, catless is one way to go. if you want power gains getting a 3" exhasut will help too: 3" uppipe/ downpipe/ catback.

or you can go turboback: downpipe and catback

figure out how much you want to spend then go from there. You'll find that most of the better systems (ones using 3 inch piping, one-piece, tig-welded, carbon or titanium etc.) usually go for a lot more than the more run of the mill systems. Thats not to say that the other systems aren't good, but you have to figure out what you want to spend and what more important, ultimate power/ loud sound or vice versa

Review section for sure, search option is great too. Also to some the way it looks is important, like a can or more of a stock look, depends on what you prefer. I personally like the stock look, thats why I went with a Stromung dual tip. Friend of mine has a HKS Carbon TI, he likes his. Oh yeah, please dont buy any EBAY brands (cheap crap, I am not talking about bidding on a part thats brand name).

It is hard to find good parts for cheap, got to pay to play. You can look in the For Sale section under used parts, since the parts are used, they are cheaper.
The Apexi is a good exhaust, some consider it a bit loud, again all depends on your own preference.

if you want a real racing style exhaust then go with the blitz nur spec r. its very deep and throaty sounding. its also a pretty powerful system if you go cat back. it's clean looking and a good price for what you get. my 2 cents.

i think the blitz is one of the loudest exhaust you can get. it sounds awesome but cops dont like it at all. the apexi n-1 is good but again the same thing with the blitz, its loud and attracts the cops. and when buying a catback or down pipe or something, def give a look in the for sale section. yea theyre used but its just a catback not an oil filter
