I was wondering if anyone could tell me if removing the catted-up pipe and replacing it with a non catted one will effect emmissions testing. Also, if a down pipe with out a cat is used, and the third one is left intact will the car pass emmissions? I am in MA, if that makes a difference.

 

I stock cat left on the system can pass the sniffer in california, it just won't pass the visual inspection.
