exhaust problem help
Hey i have a 3inch catless helix dp and a tsudo catback.. there seems to be some kind of leak in between the downpipe and the catback, maybe because it doesnt mount correctly, but i can hear it when the car is on and driving.. it is some kind of ring noise, from what i know, tsudo is a 2.5 so it might not fit correctly, but there is also a knock from the dp bumping into something. can this be fixed by replacing the mid-pipe with someone else? or even better can it be fixed without replacing anything? Thanks

well on install did u tighten everything from the turbo back or did u start from the muffler and work your way up a lot of ppl make this mistake. another one is they leave so much to work with as far as centering the muffler to the mid pipe on a lot of these cat back system witch was my problem my guess is that the 2 flanges where the mid pip and axle back are off center and it is leaking there. so dont center it and fix it go to the auto store and get some exhuast cement and then lay a thin layer on the gasket re-install it and center the pipe while tightening the bolts if u have a lift i suggest having a friend help hold the pipe center it's hard to do on your own but can be done on the ground just jack it up from your diff..
