Evap. Emission control system leak?

OK my delema, recently bought my 02' off a local. I've had the car for about a month and now the chack engine light came on. So i OBD II'd the ***** and it gave me a error code of P457. so i jacked it up to find the so called leak and nothing. I even changed the gas cap.
ANY SUGGESTIONS

Is the car stock or has it been modified? You said 02, so I'm going to assume it's a WRX.

have you tried a pressure test? Happened to me once, found a pin hole leak, replaced the line problem fixed.

Anyjuan wanna buy these extra gas caps I have. Used for roughly 20 miles

Evap = not your problem. Take it back to the dealer. You car is only 2002 that will
be covered under emissions. I think it is like 7 years and 100,000 miles.
