Thanks choku dori for your reply, that is exactly what I was looking for. A friend of mine and I were talking about looking into a package deal to the Tokyo Auto Salon some year. I think that would be a nice get away. As for the exhaust information I have a couple questions for you. As far as being a little out of my league with a stock motor, what kind of mods would put me in the league for that exhaust. My future upgrades are Buschur Racing up-pipe and Downpipe and possibly their header, catback and a reflash. As far as power mods go thats about it unless I come into more money somehow (lottery or a rich relative passes on). Thanks for your help

Kind of Off the Subject .. Sorry

I Just purchased my 04 WRX and Sold my 95 talon I was using a 3" ATR Stainless System on it .. and I liked it, and there was only one problem I had with it .. It was LOUD.

Does anyone know a good 3" Exahust with good numbers on the Dyno but is not too loud w/o the use of a silencer.

Or, am I just going to have to get used to the sound of a jet airplane flying behind me when I step on the gas?

eclipse0001: Upipe and downpipe should make both those models of catbacks viable. I highly recommend Helix for both upipe and downpipe. Of course, the more mods you begin to install, the more effective the Ex-Mag GT2 and JGTC500 become. But upipe and downpipe should be enough to take decent advantage of these models. Reflash of course is vital everytime you install any power mods.
wrx21: there are quite a few models of quiet catbacks that make good power. First and foremost in popularity and ease of availability in the US is the Greddy Evo. If you are determined to make max power w/ minimal noise however, seek out the new generation of Japanese "touring" exhausts. Examples are the Blitz Nur-Spec Touring (difficult to find in the US but not impossible), the HKS Hi-Power Quiet, Kakimoto R, Fujitsubo Legalis, and I believe Apex'i has released a quiet version of their GT-Spec. These sort of touring exhausts make excellent power but are slightly heavier than their N-1 styled cousins.
Non-JDM alternatives are Prodrive (I forget which model), Borla Hush, and MRT Performance (again I forget which model). I don't know too much about these models however since I'm a hopeless JDM addict.
