Engine help...

Sorry if i'm posting this in the wrong forum... but i just want to know if there are any rebuild kits for the wrx engine.. i don't want to bore the engine... just upgrade the stock internals? and if doing this would i not pass smog (i live in cali.)? ideally i would want to have a direct replacement for the internals that could handle more power...well it would be great for some help... thanks

just stronger internal parts, but equal to OEM as far as dimensions? i dont see how that would affect smog, because you wouldnt technically be changing anything that had to do with emissions or power adding.
