i have an 02 wrx one day it was fine the next day i started it up and it started fine but as soon as i give it gas it cuts out and sputters and then dies at or around 3k rpms i wanna say its preboost but i dont really get a chance to tell for sure i have an up pipe dp cat back front mount and intake, i just put on a new version 3 ssqv dont think that is the prob thogh

 

Does it have a CEL?
Limp mode will cut at ~4k RPM or any load that would make it go open loop fueling.
