Engine/Power - EJ20T (pre-2006 WRX and JDM) There is replacement for displacement, it is forced induction - OEM 2.0 liter turbo engines in the USDM WRX. 90-94 Legacy Turbo EJ22 turbo engines can also be discussed here.

Engine Cooling

What's the best and the fastest way to cool an engine in between runs at the track?

Thanks

the best way to cool is to Turn it off and leave the hood open, thats all. maybe idle a bit and let the fan turn on for a second, then turn it off.

After a run at the track or an AutoX, I pop the hood and let the car idle for a few minutes to cool the turbo. Then I turn the car off. About 3-5 minutes before the next run, I start spraying down the IC with one of those sprayers designed for garden use until the IC is ice cold.
