Which is pretty hard all ready but 315 on an EJ20 with no internal mods. I'm thinkin if it's true his motor will be broke soon @ that power.
Give me some thoughts on this.

The answer is:
More than the tranny will be comfortable with...
and the stock motor can burn valves without mods, so another answer would be <227
what you get will depend on who does the work and how much money you spend, how reliable it will be is anybodies guess.

I have a issue . I have my wrx in the shop Im putti.g the jdm ej20 non sti motor in it with a cattless downpipe and a tune . A race timing kit a jdm transmission rear end and front end . I dobt have boost gauges everything is stock on the car. I need to know how much whp and regular hp the car should get if they run tge car at 18 psi o. A street tune ?

I was going to ask the same question ... I might as well add it here even though it's a 9 years old thread!
Any 500 whp ... EJ205 with stock internals! If not, what breaks?
I have a budget of $5000 () and my goal is to make 500 whp!
I will tear apart my first EJ205 in two weeks and I will see first hand but I would like some information before hand.
The crank appears to be a very weak point because of the thin counter weights base on the pictures I see.
I've seen a few pictures of crack blocks but how common is that?

"Jdm transmission" is this a STi 6 speed or the hard to find flappy paddle 4EAT? What kind of gas are you going to get tuned for? Intake or upgraded inner-cooler? What turbo is on the car?
