Drop-in filter broke?
Well while doing a compression test, I took off the airbox and noticed that a piece of rubber molding from my Blitz drop in ripped off and is no where to be found. Most likely it passed through the turbo/intake tract. Should I be worried about this or would the piece just have been disintegrated by the compressor wheel?

I was actually thinking about getting the Blitz drop-in but now I might reconsider.
If you don't feel or hear anything different in the way the car is working and performing then you're probably fine.
Also, Maybe the filter was broken even before you put it in and you are just now noticing.

It was probably the many times I've taken the airbox out that weakened the rubber. Hopefully I broke the rubber and it got pushed out of the side instead of into the airbox. I'm probably going to pick up an Sti drop in filter and see how that works out.
