What size is the drain plug on the WRX?
Just want to make sure i have the right wrench before i jack up my car and start my oil change.

Zoeb, have you considered a Fumoto Oil Drain Valve? I can't use one on my 02 WRX because I have the factory oil temp gauge and the sender fits in the drain plug hole. My brother has used them for years and hasn't had problems with leaks. He picked his up at either a Pep Boys or NAPA, but I listed Fumoto's .url below.

Oil changes are easier and quicker, as you only have to wrench on the filter. Fumoto valves are also offered with a short nipple that can take a length of hose to facilitate draining of oil.

i have considered one, i like the fact that u dont have to use washers everytime u chance the oil and i do plan on getting one, but this is my first oil change.
