OK, what is the best way to go without throwing engine codes?

You don't need an uppipe, just downpipe. Uppipe is catless on the sti.

wrong!!!!!!!!!
There is a cat on my STi up pipe, so someone's confused out there. 2 on the down pipe, a forth "thing" that looks like a cat or resinatior and then the muffler. G

Dont believe me lift your STI and look. WOW

your sure your not confusing the heat sheild of flex joint in the up pipe on the sti?
