do you guys ever scrape the tips? a friend and i were having a debate on whether a 4 inch tip is too big. IMO, it's huge. but it sounds awsome.
he's getting either an HKS ti, or Invidia. both are huge.... i told him to go smaller since his car is already lowered and he lives in a ditch.

Just for your info I have an HKS Carbon TI less than 2k miles sellin' for $475 local! But of course if you put the puzzle together for your question, a bigger tip will have more scratches. Or you can just be extra careful.

That's nasty Bob...
Like any sporty car, just take it easy on inclines, driveways, speed bumps, etc., and go over diagonally if you have to (works for low front lips too )

Scrape? I have an STI exhaust on my WRX with stock suspension and somehow dented the hell out of my muffler piping (near the rear diff). There is like this 2 inch wide (1/2 inch deep) dent in the piping, which happens to be one of the lowest point in the exhaust. Good thing I had a rear diff protector. I don't even go off-road. Damn road debris.

Never scraped it on road. 4" Apexi N1, inside of can (front of car) bottomed out a few times off road, no dents though. Car was in a major wreck today, goin on the flatbed the tip came abouut an inch from the ground.

I have a Greddy and it has a 4" pipe on it and I have never bottomed out. I am suprised since I live on a really steep hill and a really steep driveway.

SuboobaruWRSEX: sorry to hear about your car man, I hope it all turns out good for you . . . If not I am looking for an Apexi N1. Sorry to start picking at your car if its fixable. Just thought I would offer.
Happy Holidays,
WRX Rush
