I have noticed the same thing on my gauges (fluctuations).
I've determined most of the fluctuation was due to the piston on my BOV..when i returend to stock the variance was closer.
Now im convinced that the stepping motor is just that sensitive to monitor the slight changes in boost do to the actuator gate cracking open slightly. It was noticable last time i was on the dyno.

Using Defi gauges..not the BF or that new series without the controller.
