Deadbolt Monster TD04

Ok I have heard of people running around on 17psi with this turbo. Just wanting some feedback.

Friend of mine is going to the track and wants to pull the hose so he can run 17 on 100 octane.

It's best to run some form of engine management rather than 'pulling the hose'.

i'm running a deadbolt monster TD04, and i haven't heard of anyone 'just pulling the hoses to run 17psi.' 100 octane isn't the magic cure all solution for bad or no tuning. running 17psi without the proper air/fuel mixture isn't good for your motor no matter what gas you're running.

I think it would be more than 17 psi. Disconnecting the waste gate line would yield some crazy boost spikes.

You would probably blow something up if you ran with out a waste gate.

yeah I have one also, i love it. Seen people pull the hose with no problems wwith Toulyene. And run the stocker with the hose pull, one side peaks 17 other peaks 19-20.
