I'm using it. It is SUPER easy to put in. It uses one of the intercooler bracket bolts for mounting, so just take that bolt out, slide the heatshield in under the intercooler and replace the bolt. Piece of cake.

Wouldn't you want to remove the old heat sheild? That is a bit more complicated as you would want to remove the intercooler for that. Still pretty easy though, shouldn't take more than 15 minutes.

Yeah... my bad. I was assuming this was going on an aftermarket DP. But yeah, if this is going on your stock DP you will need to remove your stock heatshiled and its 8,000 screws.

Is it important to have the dp heatshield? Cause I just left mine off when installing my stromung dp and theres no bolts that will allow for it to go back on like the stock dp.

It isn't that important to have the stock heatshield in place, but it will help keep temps down under the hood.

Yeah, you don't NEED one, but it is a good idea. Considering how close the top of that DP is to the IC I think you're better safe than sorry.

Will this heat shield work on a turbo XS dp and if so where can I purchase one?

Forget it, I found one at Z1 and there is a pic of it on a turbo with a TXS DP.

Kinda one in the same. The heatshield covers the turbo as well as the bell mouth area of the DP.
