so ive been waiting for cobb to give me an answer but ill try here hoping someone has some experience....is a jdm tmic okay to run on an ots cobb stg. 2 map? i know larger aftermarket ones require a tune but wondering if anyone has run a jdm v.7 tmic with stage 2? if it matters my mods are up and downpipe, sti exhaust, panel filter...thanks

 

I had a buddy running the STi TMIC on a wrx with stage 2 and it didnt run very well

 

i have a stock wrx intercooler, im basically stage 2 (up pipe, DP, catback) and a protune. i dont think you need a new intercooler.

 

You need a protune if you want to run the IC, wait for a bigger turbo then put it on.
