hey guys, ive had a check engine light for the past two days, so i took it to one of my friends shop and it says that its misfiring. its kinda leading up tp the sensor on the air box...saying that its feeding to much air. Im basically asking, could there be another prolem that is leading to the isfireing besides too much air? If it is the map sensor or whatever its called, does anyone have one for sale? i have a 2002 wrx.

 

I'm having the problem too. Mine just lit up yesterday. I went to Andrew Solis's shop "S & S Auto Concepts in Concord. Andrew told me my 04 WRX was misfiring on #1 Cylinder. And today it lit up again.

 

yeah mine is all 4 cylinders. my friend checked it and said it was misfiring also and that it might be the map sensor near the air box..it might be that..but i dont have money right now to check that..i dunno if u want to look into that..but thats all i know so far.

 

My **** misfired on all cylinders but then after a while it fixed it self. It would stall out after starting it and idle rough. Any of this happen to you guys?

 

my shake's like its about to turn off but it doesnt.
my friend brought is wrx over and check is air and other stuff is was like normal and was pretty high on alot stuff but im going to get a 60k check i hope that help

 

hello, what mods if any do yall have? how many miles do you have on the car/wagon? could be a common problem?
