i installed a turbo XS TBE exhaust with cat about 4 or 5 months ago. I've driven well over 5000 miles and had no problems. Today my CEL came on and I dont know why. I've read that people don't generally have problems with the CEL and this exhaust. I also checked the gas cap but it seemed fine and i'm 3/4 through the tank so its not like i just filled up.

Any thoughts or suggestions?

 

go to a local shop or someone that got a obd2 scanner to find out the cel code(s) you have first.... find out what the code is and then fix the problem...

 

go to autozone, if you use thier obd2 scanner in the parking lot they usually don't make you leave a deposit, maybe just your i d

 

Hey, where are you in CT? I have an obd II scanner if you need one.. autozone locally here has started charging 'labor'.

I know our cars pretty much inside and out.. I've taken my MY02 WRX completely apart.. from minor things like interior and top end of the motor and camshaft swaps.. to a complete swap, drivetrain setup, axles, you name it.
