What causes a CEL even if a CEL Fix was installed???

Lots of things can cause a CEL. There are over a hundred different problems that if detected by the ECU will set a code and turn on the light.
You need to get the code read to proceed further and find your problem. You can go to any Autozone and they will scan it for free, there are also other members in NJ with scanners who can read the code for you. If you post in the Tri-State forum here and on NASIOC you should be able to hook up with someone.
Once you have the exact numerical code, post it here and we can help you further.
