Car Info: 2010 LANCER GTS
I finally got my car dyno tuned this week at Altered Atmosphere in MD.The rex made some good numbers.Could have done a little better even, but i have a boost leak that ill be fixing soon. The car drove home ok, no wierd noises or anything. No cels, until a couple days later when i went to give my friend a ride. We were driving down the road and i was going through the gears fine until i hit 3rd and the cel flashed a couple times when i got on it. I of course was like wtf and let off the gas, so i dont know if it would have kept on flashing or if the ecu was seeing something for a split second. But it doesnt do it all the time it only does it hear and there. If anybody has had this happen or might know what it is any help would be great! Thanks

a flashing cel is showing misfire. the cose will remain in the ecu, if you check pending codes it will show up. if you are running an aftermaarket boost controler it may also be overboosting, of overloading the maf. use an obdII scanner, and you should be able to see what it is.

If you are using a UTEC, then the flashing CEL is knock.
As the weather gets colder, the denser air will cause boost to go up a bit, so you may want to turn the boost down a bit or run some toluene...
