"Have you run into any problems or check engine lights/coeds with the access ecy. I just want the stage one and an axle back exhast. Is there any tuning involed by the end user?"

No CELs from the AccessECU. And the end user does not do any tuning. It is simply a "plug n play" type thing. I have read great reviews about the stage 1, too. You can put it on your stock WRX and then get the axle back later if you want.

"JonJ - so Cobb programed the AccessECU Stage 2 for you, right? You told them you had gotten the turboback exhaust? They were cool with that? TIA
Doug"

Stage 2 is designed for a WRX w/ turboback. The order form asks for a list of your mods and which stage you want. And when you call them before sending it in, they will ask you, too. After you get your turboback in, just take out your ecu (directions on Cobbs site), overnight it to them, and they will refalsh it and overnight it right back. I got my at 9:30 in the morning two days after I sent it. You can expect the same.

I've been driving mine for two days now and can't stop jumping on it whenever possible. Really flies through the gears! I can't waite to race someone!
