A/C Wires Cut!!

I took my '02 wagon in to the dealer because the A/C wasn't getting cold and the wiring harness to the magnetic clutch was cut by somebody. I have my suspicions about the car stereo guys that put my amp in, but its been a long time since I used the A/C and I have no proof they did it. So, the dealer said they could not replace the harness, but rather Subaru would make them replace the whole compressor assembly. They "off-the-record" suggested that I go to an auto electronics shop and patch the wire for a cheaper solution. But I have no idea where the wires go, and I don't exactly trust ABC Auto Electronics to know either. Anybody out there have an idea?
The dealer officially wrote it up as "Wire to magnetic clutch not sending pressure signal to low pressure switch." I can get a picture of it if that will help.
Thanks

If you are within 100 miles of Stamford Ct i'd be willing to meet you and patch it.
Let me know.
Other than that.. err.. why don't you get a friend and some electrical tape, a pair of 10-10s (wire strippers/crimpers/screw cutters), find out the guage of the wire.. then compare and contrast to another subies engine bay and go from there.
Its really not as hard as it seems. And if its low voltage which I'm banking on that it is.. there really isn't all that you could mess up.

For some reason I can't edit my post.. but.. if you have a pic and no friends with a wrx.. send me the pic or post it and I'll take a pic of the same thing to help you. Hell maybe even write out a short but sweet schematic for you with gauge of the wire and all.
