BOV Warranty
Can I put in an aftermarket BOV (Blitz) or have the dealer install it, and the car still remain under warranty. I realize that the BOV won't void my drivetrain warranty but the turbo obviously.
Any experience, or is it best just to call the dealer and see. Dad is saying I can't do it if it voids warranty... I still owe him 6,000 grand, although I make payments... yeah bunch of b.s. so what's the deal. Thanks in advance.

Nothing can "voids warranty", but if you take your car in and they prove that the aftermarket part caused the problem then they can change you. Which they will try to say anything has caused the problem.
Putting a BOV on isn't hard at all it about 25 mins of work after you know what your doing. Mainly you have to undo the intercooler to push it back, which is two bolts, and two hose clamps. Before pushing it back undo the two bolts that are holding the bypass (stock BOV, if you will). Push the intercooler back, then there is a hose and hose clamp that is hooked up to the output of the bypass. Pop that off then the intercooler is ready for the new BOV. Then do all this the other way around to put it back together. It isn't hard, it takes a 12mm and 10mm shocket (I think), a flat head, and some pliers, locking ones are best for the return hose from the BOV.
What most people do is when they can their car to the dealer they put the stock bypass back on. That way the dealer doesn't see the bov.
