An aftermarket bov doesn't hurt performance at all, unless you tune it wrong. You know a lot of things don't give you any performance. People put things on their car that make them look or sound the way they want.

Sorry I was wrong on this one. That sound is actually the reirc. hose backing up. This happens when you go 100% atmospheric. And it's nothing to worry about. It gets even louder with a fmic. You'll know compressor stall cause your enginge will stutter like crazy when it the turbo stalls.
