borla hush and helix pipe setup question

If i use the stock midpipe to connect the downpipe and the borla catback, would i still have to make a custom flange? Or should i just go catless and make a custom flange to connect the catback and the downpipe. Or am I just completely out of it? any info helps. thanks.

Most downpipes on the market take the place of two sections of the factory exhaust, each of which have a cat. So if you get a cat'd downpipe it will reduce the total number of cats from three to two and if it has a stock end attachment, it will fit right up to the Borla catback which is designed to attach to a stock cat section. Just make sure the downpipe you buy is designed to mate up to the factory exhaust. Don't go catless!
