I have not seen the flange end of the Borla exhaust so I'm not certain on this point, but I believe you could make it match-up to another down-pipe, provided the down-pipe flange isn't bigger than the Borla's flange. I built a custom 3" midpipe and mated it to a Bosal cat-back using a 3" flange and heavy-duty gasket and lock nuts. No leaks as of yet.

i'm glad to see that catbacks actually work. Is the borla hush have a resonator or is the muffler baffled?

Cat-back exhaust systems will gain some hp on any turbocharged cars. Borla is good for the money but I don't like the way it looks..

You don't have to chop up the hush. There is a slip joint just a few inches from the flange. Don't like the current flange? just get a new joint fabbed. 6" of pipe, a flange and some welding is all that is needed to get whatever kind of flange you want.

Check this thread on nasioc, scroll down most of the way though the thread where 'hatchy' has a picture and some comments about the adapter he has for a 3" downpipe.

The Borla units are pretty well made, they are not polished stainless only the tip is polished but they are 100% 304 stainless throughout.

The Borla's have a million mile warranty as well.
