Thumbs up Borla Hush Dyno Results

I just got back from dyno-ing my car at ATP. I did a base line run on Dec 10th and I did the last run today with the Borla Hush 3" Cat-back system installed. I cann't post the actually piocs of the dyno results until tommorrow, seeing as how I'm not at work and don't have acces to a scanner right now. But my car in stock form put down 173.4 HP @ ~5.6K and 185.7 ft-lbs @ ~3.7K With the borla hush installed I had 183.1 HP @ ~5.1K and 186.5 ft-lbs @ ~4.3K.

The peak numbers are pretty decieving I think. After about 4.3K the Borla Hush really seprates itself from the stock system. BUt below 4.3K the stock system is putting down better numbers, I already expected that. So I'll put up the dyno grpahs tommorrow so you guys can actually see for yourselves. Oh yeah wanna thank Mike @ATP and Mike @ MPJ for their help.

At idle they are both same, actually I think I'm idling a little lower. I idle @ 500 when before it used to idle at 750 RPm. When I start the car there is a nice deep growl. At speed I hardly hear it. It is louder than stock but not annoyingly so. At WOT it sounds nice.

And yes I plan on getting a dp/up combo, those sound really nice!! BUt I gotta take care of some home maintenance first Preston.

Yeah those two bolts were hard. I could quite get my torque wrence to work in that area so I just guest-timated when I was tightening them down. Other than that install went pretty smooth except when the jack I was using to hold the exhaust fell on my hand.

Me too  I didn't think there would be such a difference above ~4.5K over stock.

Yeah it's the only mod for the time being. I'm trying to pay off my car first, but if one of my plans falls thorugh I'm gonna get my new rims and tires come Feb/March, and then get new springs and struts. Starting with suspension first before I hit up the engine any further.
