Borla Hush is basically the best compromise between stealth and performance. Looks stockish without looking too boring. And its a proven performer.

The XR1 is not one that will keep you away from the cops...its LOUD

Get a Hush as mmboost suggested.

I had the XR1 and it was loud. the rumble sounded good but at times it almost sounded a little too zingy. i have switched to the apexi ws2 and cant be happier. if i had to choose between the two i would go with the hush.

I just had a Borla Hush installed on my car this past weekend...It's an excellent choice. It has a nice rumble but is not loud at all, plus it looks nice and subtle. As for power, I don't know any exact numbers, but I can tell you that the car's acceleration is noticeably stronger, especially in the midrange.

I know of guys from Gruppe-S who have 400+ horsepower with the hush on. Myself I wanted something a little louder, so I got the hush, had a 3 inch adapter welded in (because the original is to mount up to stock downpipe) and I had the resonator cut out, now it is as loud as an xr1 with the look of a hush. I love mine, I have been asked if my exhaust is a porsche exhaust Gotta love it
