Boost Gauge Questions
Hi Everyone, I just got my boost gauge installed last night, and all went well. I spliced a T in the line coming off of the bypass valve. I started the car and the gauge had a steady vaccum reading, I drove it around the block, it registered the boost when I was on the throttle, then I pulled in the garage, as I was sitting in the car the gauge had a steady vaccum reading again. Now here's my question. This morning, my gauge was reading steady vaccum, but when I drove 8 miles to work on the highway, and parked to let the car cool down, the gauge was kind of irratic, always reading vaccum, but violently between 15 and 20 pounds of vaccum. It was loud enough to make the gauge make a clicking noise. What did I do wrong? Or is this normal? It was pretty cold up here in Rochester, MN this morning, but I am still puzzled.
Thanks

Car Info: 2016 Acura RDX ... meh. Um, nice subwoofer?
Recheck all the boost lines and tie-wrap each connection. Other than that, I'd call Autometer.

p.s. You sure that's pounds of vacuum?
