Blitz Nur spec questions

I thinking about getting the Nur spec catback because I want something loud to scare the ricers with there stock civic's (with only a muffler and cut springs) but i just don't want to get bothered by the cops. how loud is this exhaust during regular daily driving? and do you actually feel any improvement with just the catback on a stock wrx? i've been trying to find sound clips but haven't yet; if anyone has any sound clips if you could post or if you know where I can find one I'd really appreciate it. thanks for any info

its loud... talk to schafer, hes on this forum, usually on the sacramento threads.. but the blitz is definatly one of the loudest out there.. its a nice tone though.. i would worry about the cops if you get this exaust, as it will call attention, especially if your runnin catless... as in performance wise... most catbacks wont add any hp unless tied to an aftermarket downpipe...

get a QTEC. Loud as **** when you want to be, but quiet as stock when you want it to be.

I'm debating between the Blitz Nur Spec R, Apexi GT Spec, and the Perrin Dual Tip. If anyone has any of these or know anything about the durability of these I'd really appreciate any info. thanks

i have the blitz nur catback. it is loud as loud can get. it sounds really sick thought, nice and throaty, really mean sounding. but i tell u cops will be a problem, depending on the town, thats how i found it. some towns bother u some dont. i just ride through those towns anymore. but it is over any decibel level allowed, idle at like 105. but i htink its worth it. it sounds incredible. im just wondering how the optional silencer does in silencing it down. oh yeah and this is a loud all the time exhaust. u cant make it quite. at idle it has a loud rumble as well so. i would reccomend it but first check around ur area, ask people how the cops are with hassling on exhuast loudness. it all depends how picky the cops are in your area. i love it though. one of the best looking as well.

Blitz is a baddass exhaust. Really sets your car appart from the others. It is loud, however not 105db at idol as stated above...lol. If you don't fit the street racer profile you should be ok with the cops (Young, dark tinted windows, slammed to the ground, after market body trim). I have the blitz on my wrx and have never been pulled over for it. I only have eibach springs on my car though as far as looks go.

I'm gonna tint the windows so people won't see whose killing them and simple little things. no crazy bodykits just sleeper type. I just want the STi spoiler and STi rims. If anyone knows where I can find the rims that would be helpful
