Engine/Power - EJ20T (pre-2006 WRX and JDM) There is replacement for displacement, it is forced induction - OEM 2.0 liter turbo engines in the USDM WRX. 90-94 Legacy Turbo EJ22 turbo engines can also be discussed here.

Blitz NUR question...

on the highway it sounds very nice! it has a low bassy sound. and even with the windows up you can hear it over most of the noise on the highway which can either be a good thing or a bad thing. best of all it drowns out those H cars

The silencer for me anyway was a bad experience. i put it on and it would rattle like crazy sounded very horable. when i would get it to work right the engine sounded stock! If your going to use the silencer though i recommend you changing the bolt to something else stronger. while i was at the track on night i wasn't able to get the damn thing off because it got so stripped that the threads all feel off

just get it you'll love it like the rest of us unfortuantely your neighbors might not but in time they will get adjusted to the sound of total power coming down the street hope that helps

dude, ... it is a loud exhaust. If you are wondering whether or not to get it b/c of 'loudness', ... I would suggest looking at a different exhaust.

and with a catless uppipe and downpipe, it significantly raises the 'loudness' of the exhaust. It is louder than my BPM MKIII turboback.

Yes it gets annoying. without cats it gets downright obnoxious. If thats your thing then get it. If not keep looking.

I am looking forward to a Nur Spec too.
I worried about the sound would cause me tickets or pull-overs....
Other than that, I don't have a problem with it.
Has anybody had any stories of this sort to tell?
Are the 5o's likely to give me hard time for a loud exhaust?

You get a silencer with the exhaust and that thing quiets it down a whole lot. When I first saw the silencer I said "WTF this isnt gonna make it quieter" but it did. Ill try to get a sound clip of it the exhaust with the silencer and send it to you.

BTW, whoever emailed me about sending the mpeg I didn't forget I've just been lazy the past couple days but I will send it.

HP difference with/without silencer?

Is the difference in power noticeable with/without silencer?
