If the crank is ok, I'd get a legacy 2.2 block, forged rods and pistons in the correct bore, then you'd have a 2.2 with a race ready rod/stroke ratio. Yes it matters. See the stroker thread on these pages. It even details how to put together your own stroker kit, ya don't need to buy an over priced kit.
