Apexi AVC-R Settings
I have had my AVC-R in my wagon for about a year now and have done a lot of tuning with it and had mixed results. Don't get me wrong the car hauls but I think I can find a better combo of settings. I have Injen Wagon Only CAI, Greddy Cat Back Exhaust, and Apexi AVC-R controller. (13.57@98mph)
Current Settings
Boost 1.05 (1.10 - 1.15 with 100 octane unleaded)
Duty 53
Start Duty:
1st - 39
2nd- 14
3rd- 0
4th- (-5)
5th- 0
My biggest concern is that the car is jerky, especially in second gear. I have played around with the learn gear settings thinking that maybe it was fluctuating and causing rapid changes in the boost.
If anyone has any settings that have worked good for them I would appreciate any help you can offer. I know this message has been posted before by many others but I can't seem to find any threads on it anymore.

Here's a thread that can answer a few of your basic questions. My car is currently without my AVC-R until I get some issues straightened out, otherwise I'd have more answers for you.
My biggest problem was getting boost spikes up into the 1.17 range from a regular setting of 1.05. Once I turned the duty-cycle down it settled down a bit.
Also, like they say in the thread, turn gear learn on until you have some nice settings you like, then turn it off.

What I did
I don't have much boost creeps. What I did:
Run the car with boost setting at 1 bar up to 6500 rpm, which is set at 0.9 bar. Set the duty cycle at 60% all the way through.
Record the runs in 3rd gear and make adjustments to the duty cycle to smooth out the boost curve (try WOT at different rpm spots and adjust lower if boost spikes).
Once that is set, then play with the different gear duty cycle adjustments and test. On mine, I have duty cycle at about 50% (BPM turbo back exhaust and VS0 with Unichip), and 1st gear = +5%, 2nd gear = 3%, 3rd gear = 0%, 4th gear = -3%, and 5th gear = -5%.
The only thing is I get slight boost spikes when the temps are cold out, but when it is warm out, I don't see full boost... so on hot days, need to turn duty cycle gear adjustments + 3% on each gear to help. Just remember to turn it back down.
... my 2 cents
Hope this helps.

Thanks guys, I have also noticed a short boost spike in first and second gears. Just a slight one in third. I have a pretty good handle on that but the car is jerky under normal acceleration in second and third gears...Im not sure what this is all about.
