ap v2

I just bought a apv2 from GST and im trying to install the thing on my car.. I have the green connectors plugged in the other clear connector plugged in and The test mode is being ran on my car.. I press "install" on the ap and it says "finding vehicle" and then it says error.. I read somewhere that it could be just because my battery is low so I hook up a charger to it after running the car for about 20 minutes to let the alternator do its job of charging. btw this a brand new optima red top. Then after that doesnt work I put jumper cables on it and hook it to my brothers suv still errors.. I've searched all over the cobb forums and even called them. (they were closed) I have no idea what to do next.. Any words of advice?
Btw this is for a 03 wrx mt.

Cliff notes: Apv2 wont install onto my car.

you absolutely sure you have the 2.0L ap2 and not the 2.5l ap? maybe there was a mix-up?

call cobb or post on their forums. If they are open, they are usually pretty good about helping their customers

I double checked the connections replugged it all in.. Verified my ap is for a 2.0.. Called cobb told me that my ecu may be married to another ap.. But tomorrow once I get off work hopefully earlier this time they said they will walk me through it to see if it is my ecu or the ap.

I had the same type of problem with the first edition Accessport. It was due to having a defected information cable(the one that goes from the Accessport to your OBDII plug). If you can find someone who has that specific cable try theirs to see if it works, if it doesn't, at least you know that connection is probably good. If that ends up being the problem Cobb will warranty the cable($60 value by the way!). Go to your local tuner and have em' help you out, it's what I did.
