Engine/Power - EJ20T (pre-2006 WRX and JDM) There is replacement for displacement, it is forced induction - OEM 2.0 liter turbo engines in the USDM WRX. 90-94 Legacy Turbo EJ22 turbo engines can also be discussed here.

Anyone ever deal with Ultimate Racing? EJ20TT?

Anyone ever deal with Ultimate Racing? EJ20TT?

I am planning on doing a lot of engine work, and am trying to find a good company to deal with. I want to go with something along the lines of a t3/t4. I found a place on-line named Ultimate Racing. Has anyone on here dealt with them or heard anything about them? I have sent them a couple e-mails, and they seem to know what they are talking about.

Here is the kit I am looking at: http://www.ultimate-racing.com/Produ...RXStage4.shtml

I have looked, but I can't find anyone else on the net that sells a similar conversion kit. Is there anyone else?

I am also thinking about doing an EJ20TT conversion. How hard would this be? I have swapped engines in Hondas, but have only done tranny work in my WRX.

Any help would be appreciated, and I am sure I will have more questions.

From my understanding there is major firewall reconstruction to be done to a 02-04 wrx for the EJ20TT conversion. unless you have major finances or planning on doing a crazy tube chassis or something stay with what you got and just upgrade the turbo and all of its supporting agents.

Yea, after doing some reading I found the ej20tt won't fit.

I was under the impression that UR was god, I just wanted to see what some other people's impressions of them were.

When I get the money and find out how I want to go about all of this I will probably order the Stage IV kit.

Doesn't it seem odd that they don't sell the 255lph fuel pump as part of the Stage IV package? I couldn't imagine putting in a t3/t4 and NOT upgrading the fuel pump... especially with 785cc injectors. Just my $0.02, though.

I find that weird too, but I am definitely going with a bigger fuel pump.
