not even a year?... well it was a used alternator.
what I see is both alternators were old...... now if you replaced your alternator with a new or reman alternator back in june 2009 then you most likely have a problem. but since you replaced it with a old unit i'm not sure.

It didn't last even a year because it was used for years already.
If you dont want to have this problem again in 6months to a year... you should save your time and money and get a new alternator or a reman alternator.
buying used alternators is a gamble.

Get one with a lifetime warranty or a reputable one from bosch. Alternators and batteries can be tested at kragen, pepboys, autozone etc

can i have your unwanted alternators?
