i have done some more researching and have determiend that FMUs allow more fuel to pass through depending on boost. so your average FMU would let in 12:1 ration fuel to boost. there is not computer involved it is all mechanical.

i think the difference is one does higher volume, and the other does higher pressure? or maybe they are the same thing.

i might have the Legacy turbo FPR on the fuel rail still, however i dont know what pressure this runs.
