I just put an ACT streetlight in my 02 wrx. i also put sti motor mounts in at the same time. The car now really shakes at idle. Is this normal or is there something going on. And also does the idle speed need to be raised to comp. for the flywheel weight.

 

From what I understand the STi motor mounts are just going to make that rough idle more apparent in the rest of the car. My 02 wrx has a rough idle already, I don't want any more of that shaking the whole car.. not sure for the flywheel thing... I doubt it.

The car is good. The shake is ok. It feels really racey. The throttle response is soooo much better. The stock mounts were smoked. The motor was moving around so much. When i took the mounts out they felt like foam rubber. Garbage!
