Thanks
Hey, I tried to tell people that YEARS ago about mitsu turbos, but people thought I was just putting another turbo down because I wasn't selling it.

I JUST had my super trick $1000 JDM mitsubishi titanium turbo fail on my EVO. Turbine wheel just broke apart for no reason. Now I have a paperweight!

Mitsubishi has hit/miss quality control, for sure-if the components aren't flawless, doesn't matter who builds the turbo. Unless you have a turbo shop that puts calipers on every single component and checks every surface, you'll have that.

What don't you like about it? Since you mention the 18g I assume it's not putting down enough power?

I have vf34 and just layed down 272 hp and 265 lbs of torque. Its a good turbo! Go with the VF34. Its made in Japan and our cars were basically designed there.

I just this moment got done installing my VF39, took me all frickin' day. But it's in and it runs. It does have a significant crack on the WG side. I figure if it doesn't hold boost I'll just weld it up and go full EWG. Have you considered that route?
