16g or vf 34 which one please HELP!!!
I've seen both of those brands blow as well
. I have a really hard time having any sort of confidence in any of the mitsu variants. It really seems to be a crap shoot with most of the g series turbos. The only turbos I've seen hold up consistently so far are the Green and Red. This doesn't mean that there aren't people out there running deadbolt, blouch and FP turbos for prolonged times with no issues... it just means that there are also many people who have had a lot of problems with them. If you're feeling lucky, go for it.
Thanks

I JUST had my super trick $1000 JDM mitsubishi titanium turbo fail on my EVO. Turbine wheel just broke apart for no reason. Now I have a paperweight!
Mitsubishi has hit/miss quality control, for sure-if the components aren't flawless, doesn't matter who builds the turbo. Unless you have a turbo shop that puts calipers on every single component and checks every surface, you'll have that.

I just this moment got done installing my VF39, took me all frickin' day. But it's in and it runs. It does have a significant crack on the WG side. I figure if it doesn't hold boost I'll just weld it up and go full EWG. Have you considered that route?
it would a totally bad *** set up but
for the money ill just spend that on a greddy 18G
i got the turbo for free so i cant complain too much
