Does anyone know what the 05 wrx impreza stock turbos push out ?
I'm thinking of getting a p.e. 1818 or a vf34 turbo but i was just wondering what the stock ones push out.

 

the stock turbo pushes out boosted air, the other ones push out more boosted air.

 

LOL maybe i shoulda been more clear obviously lol ment by pushes out ment HP LOL my bad.

 

i could be wrong but isnt it the same as the 04 which is 227 hp . . . someone please correct me if im wrong.

yeah, rated at 227 like the 02,03 and 04 models.

14.5 psi IIRC.

 

i knew it was 227 hp but i was just wondering how much the turbo helps out like pushes 50 hp or 100 hp ect

 

IIRC, the stock turbo roughly doubles the horsepower of the engine. So, about ~115hp give or take.

 

its all relative. how much boost is being produced, compression ratio, etc. horsepower production is not a straight equation. every part thats even remotely related with the engine has an effect on how much power is available at any given time.

and according to my 04 sales brochure, stock boost is 13.5 psi.
