04' exhaust
04' exhaust
I have an 04' wrx and i am looking to put on a turbo back exhaust. I have looked at Xcceleration.com and they have a turbo back , 2 cat ,3" exhaust that has a 5" tip for $1099.00. I was worndering if this seems good or if any one has a better suggestion. Also i don't want cel, and this system says its ok. Thanks for any help i'm just starting out. also any other power mods recomendations are good to.
do u want the cats?? and 5inch tip is pretty big...uhm...other than that u can always peice together your turbo back and still wont get a CEL if u do the fixes for it.

edit: 5 inch is pretty damn big, I'd personally look for a different cat-back.

Probably not the most ideal system for making the most power, but if you have a conscience about polluting then it's your best bet, if you don't you can probably find a more freeflowing exhaust with one cat and then get a MIL eliminator for the CEL.

slack, when you say not the best choice for max power, are you saying not above 300 engine hp or what. my 04' mods will probably stay light for now. I also don't know if turbo back is what i need. maybe just a catback? thanks for your help. further comments wil be appreciated.

also not really worried about pollution, look a gas mpg on the wrx

If you are looking at a just catback, don't expect much as far as power gains, maybe a 5 HP.

Yeah i agree with escaflowne the in Turbo Magazine's dyno testing the HKS system had i think a peak hp of 13 or 15 i forgot, but alot of the other catback exhausts made atleast 10 to the wheels.
